Day 17- Book turned movie and completely desecrated

hmmm … let’s see

-Twilight: The whole “saga”, not that they were of the finest literature to begin with, but they’re not so bad in comparison with their movies, I mean, they are boring, have the worst cast ever, just rubbish!

-Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: well, actually not all of it, it was just a couple of scenes that were totally wrong for me, but nothing too serious… 

-Ensayo Sobre la Ceguera: the film Ceguera, was a big fail for me, the book, by the great José Saramago, is one of the best I’ve read, and even when you can see they really tried to make a good movie out of it, there’s something missing, they didn’t quite manage to translate the whole message of the film into images in my opinion

-La Casa de los Espíritus: the book by Isabel Allende is quite nice, really good writing, and the film, well, is not so much, and you’d think, because Meryl Streep stars in it, it would be a good movie, but no, actually, I think the tremendously good actress (one of my favourites), gave a really lame performance in this film … very disappointing
